New Delhi: A day later, a 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death by 20-year-old Sahil. Sahil, Following the incident, turned off his phone and took two buses to Rithala and then Bulandshahr, where he resides with his maternal aunt.
On Monday, the police arrested Sahil in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr and took him into custody for two days.
“Yesterday, Delhi Women’s Commission chief Swati Maliwal, visited the family of the victim in the Shahbad Dairy murder case. She urged a death sentence to be handed down to the accused within six months.
I just met the victim’s family at Shahabad Dairy. They are very poor, and their current condition is bad.”
The police are investigating Sahil’s social media accounts and working to find the weapon thrown at Rithala during the crime. The police stated they had filed an FIR under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Shahbad Dairy Police Station.
