Bengaluru: Thanisandra BBMP Ward Engineer left the drainage work pending in the middle of Vidyasagar Road, which began in June 2023. The negligence of a BBMP ward engineer endangered residents lives. Despite requests from local residents to solve the Drainage issue, BBMP ignored the matter, as they often do.
According to local resident Mr. Mohammed Zeeshan Fatmi, BBMP work was being carried out rapidly in June 2023. However, BBMP suddenly stopped the work midway, causing inconvenience to the public. This sudden cessation is likely to lead to problems such as mosquito breeding, health-related issues, and unpleasant odours. Additionally, during rains, dirty water floods the roads and causes blockages in the drain water. This situation could potentially put someone’s life in danger.
BBMP began work today following a complaint, but it’s uncertain if they’ll finish in our area.
The Integrated Command and Control Center registered the issue and shared complaint number 20401366 with the complainant on Twitter (X). (on 22 Sept 2023)
