Bengaluru: In the early hours of Tuesday, June 6, a 19-year-old B.Sc student in Bengaluru’s Girinagar was allegedly raped by a guy and sexually attacked by another man. The police have apprehended the accused, named as Purushottam (25) and Chetan (23). On Tuesday night, the survivor was with Purushottam and was subsequently transferred to Chetan’s residence. Both males were inebriated, according to the Inspector of Girinagar police station, and Purushottam raped the survivor while Chetan attempted to rape her.
After hearing her cries for aid, the survivor’s neighbours phoned the police. The police responded to the scene of the event and apprehended the suspects. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against the accused, and an investigation is ongoing. Purshottam is a delivery worker, while Chetan is a relationship associate in a bank.
According to the authorities, the males had drank alcohol before to the incident. They are all from the Tumakuru district of Karnataka.
