Bengaluru: A woman in Bengaluru said in the tweet that a Rapido bike driver masturbated during her ride and sent her LOVE YOU messages on WhatsApp. Athira Purushothaman wrote about her experience on Twitter. She said that the man started masturbating in the middle of the ride and kept driving with one hand even after she asked him to stop. On the way, we arrived at a remote area where no other vehicles could be seen.
A woman made a claim that the driver who arrived was using a different bike than the one displayed on the app. He explained that the bike registered with the app was currently being serviced.

The Athira Purushothaman reported that the driver began calling her persistently and sending messages on WhatsApp after their ride. She even posted a screenshot of his texts on Twitter, stating that she had to block his number to put an end to the harassment. The Athira Purushothaman had initially booked a bike ride following several cancellations by Auto Rickshaw drivers. Athira Purushothaman was returning from attending a protest against the Manipur Violence held at Town Hall in Bangalore.
