Bengaluru: The popular post shows a picture of a note gently stuck to the window of a car. The note asks the car’s owner not to park in front of the sender’s house.
A Bengaluru resident’s polite and understanding approach to a common problem between friends about where to park their cars has gone viral on social media. The event happened in the Koramangala area, and Twitter user Subhasis Das wrote about it. The kind message it sent got a lot of attention online.
Tweet Viral : A resident in Koramangala left a polite note on their neighbor’s car, kindly requesting them to avoid parking in a specific spot.
The popular post shows a picture of a note gently stuck to the window of a car. The note asks the car’s owner not to park in front of the sender’s house. The note is polite and says that the car owner doesn’t own the parking spot in question. It also says that there needs to be enough parking space because the sender’s family has lived in the area since 2000 and has two cars. The writer also tells the neighbour to park back where they used to, stressing the importance of being helpful and a good friend.
Das shared the picture and called it “Bengaluru, the city of epic content” in the post’s title, referring to the city’s reputation for interesting and inspiring events.
“Do not leave your car here!! We had already told you not to do that before. Please keep in mind that we’ve lived in this area since 2000 and own two cars. Because of this, we need a lot of places to park. Please go back to where you parked before. Let’s be good friends who help each other out,” the note said.
As soon as the post went popular, people replied right away. Some people liked the note because it was nice and kind, but others found it funny to compare it to what might have happened if the same thing had happened in Delhi or Gurugram.
“What a kind and nice letter. In Delhi, there would have been a fight or at least a battle of insults,” wrote one user.
“If this had happened in Gurgaon, a neighbour might have used a baseball bat to break the windscreen,” said someone else.
“Wow, this is great and very kind. “The next time they park their car, they should just leave a rose and a note that says “Sorry” and probably invite you to tea,” said a third person. “I think it was a nice move. In the same Bangalore, I had to work on my house and park my car on the street for a while. We have both ends of the spectrum everywhere, not just in Bangalore, said a different person.
