Bengaluru: An old man died in Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL); Muthuraj is the son of the man who died in BMRCL and has filed an FIR against BMRCL in Baiyappanahalli police station Bengaluru. Muthuraj filed an FIR against BMRCL at the Baiyappanahalli police station, saying that his 67-year-old father, Thimmegowda, died because the staff at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) didn’t get him medical help on time.

He fainted inside the BMRCL metro train. Though others helped him, Thimmegowda remained on the BMRCL Metro platform for 15 to 20 minutes, but BMRCL security guards and other employees did not help or call for an ambulance. Muthuraj shouted for help, and one of the other passengers helped Thimmegowda to a private hospital on Infantry Road. Thimmegowda died there at 11:57 am.
