Bengaluru: Dengue cases are increasing in Bangalore, which increases the number of dengue patients in Bangalore hospitals. Dengue virus is mostly affecting children and teenagers. Dengue virus is serious, but unfortunately, BBMP has taken the dengue virus very lightly. Due to dengue, human life can be in danger, and all this has happened due to the irresponsibility of BBMP, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Instead of solving the problem of #Dengue, BBMP is Busy only collecting data on dengue cases.
A patient’s family is accusing the BBMP Health Department of being irresponsible. They claim that the BBMP Health Department is aware of the dengue virus spreading, but the BBMP Health Department is not taking any action to combat it. The BBMP is only focused on creating awareness and trying to blame the public. The family insists that they keep their area clean. They had to spend 60,000 rupees on the patient’s treatment for dengue, which they had saved with great difficulty.
There is currently no effective treatment for dengue, but early precautionary measures can easily prevent it.
According to local residents, the BBMP Health Department is shirking responsibility for mosquito spray and fogging. The residents believe that if the department were to carry out these measures, it would help reduce cases of dengue. Despite booking an online request for mosquito spray and fogging, only 4-5 homes in the ward receive treatment, and BBMP uses large amounts of water in the chemicals it sprays on mosquitoes, which has no effect. After the work is completed, the staff takes the signatures of the local residents.
