Namma Bengaluru, for the past few weeks, has been painted in a wide variety of pink shades as the city enters the spring season, and the reason behind the blush pink colour of the town is due to a tree variety called the pink trumpet trees. Tabebuia rosea, commonly called the Cherry Blossoms, were planted during the British era and generally bloomed from January to March.

Even though the trees are not native to the Indian sub-continent but rather to the Mexican peninsular, but still these blossom has stolen the hearts of Namma Bengaluru people with the Netzines falling in love with the true beauty of these flowers, the season and creating a pleasant mood for people to stroll around during the morning and evenings to enjoy their true beauty. The flowers are blooming like so kind in vibe with the surroundings and Nature.
Most of these pink cherry blooms are in and around the most famous Gardens of Bengaluru, Cubbon Park, Major main Roads, lake Sides, KR Puram Area and many more. But due to the change in weather and climate in the city because of pollution, the flowering period of these trees has been greatly affected, and the flowers are withering from the trees much faster than expected.
A citizen who clicked a few snaps of the beautiful flowers expressed his interest with State news that Bangalore Amaze us in all manner, but these flowers represent our city to the next level, where sometimes I feel we are having a numerous natural beauty and that is a reason for Bengaluru being the Green Covered City.
The pink trumpets are popular with the citizens, where the social media platforms were seen a huge spike in posts regarding these flower pictures throughout the city, also with the presence of these flowers has seem to attract tourists and an accurate representation of the city’s natural beauty and uphold the nickname of Bengaluru as “The Garden City of India”.
